BuzziSpace expands BuzziLand, its collection of high-performance hanging acoustic ceiling panels, with the introduction of BuzziLand Virgule. Like its counterparts, BuzziLand Virgile is designed to bring everyday comfort to the workspace. Ideal for large, open office spaces, it attenuates and absorbs sound.
The new design captures the spirit of BuzziVirgule, an indoor/outdoor table released in September. BuzziSpace has taken its playful comma-inspired shape and reinterpreted it as an acoustical solution.
The design of BuzziVirgule is simple yet meaningful. The table configuration is designed to expand with your guest list— by joining several interconnecting tables together as necessary. It was originally created for a renowned B&B in Saint-Remy-de-Provence, France. There, BuzziVirgule was designed by hoteliers and founders of Studio FanFan, Alice Monnier and Bernard Coloma, in collaboration with BuzziSpace.
Monnier sought one-of-a-kind furnishings for her guests at Mas de L’Amarine. When she could not find the designs she was looking for, she hired a metalsmith and created them herself.
“Designed in the shape of a comma, each table can host from one to five guests,” said Monnier. “By joining two tables like a Yin Yang, six to nine guests can be hosted and joining a third table allows you to host another three to five more.”
