The Architectural Record's annual RECORD Products contest named Prism by David Adjaye one of the best new products of 2015 in the Furnishings category. The magazine announced the winners in its December issue.

"A jury of three architects, two lighting designers and one interiors director selected the best new products of the year, choosing from the hundreds of entries submitted to Architectural Record's annual competition," the magazine states on its website. "Jurors rated each hopeful according to innovation, usefulness and aesthetics."

Prism by David Adjaye, which completes the Washington Collection, comprises a swiveling lounge chair, ottoman and side table. It is the latest furniture design collaboration that the acclaimed architect has done with Knoll; Adjaye's first foray into textiles design, The Adjaye Collection by David Adjaye for KnollTextiles, debuted earlier this year.

Sara Agrest, juror and Senior Associate at Dattner, commented: "Architectural but sculptural, Prism can make a statement in hospitality and corporate environments."
