Haworth, Inc. has appointed Diane Barnes as North American Director of Sales for Haworth Collection.

Based out of the company’s New York office, Barnes will be responsible for customer relationships, driving strategy in the North American market and leadership of Haworth Collection specialists.

Through its brands, Haworth, Poltrona Frau, Cappellini and Cassina, the collection leverages the tradition and innovation of design. Barnes brings extensive industry experience to the Haworth team with decades of work in the interior design and premium furnishings industry. Most recently, she held the position of Senior Vice President for Stone Source Direct. “This is a dream opportunity – to work on a collection that is so gorgeous,” said Barnes. “The brand names and legacies evoke inspiration to create and bring life to memories created in beautifully designed spaces. It is fantastic to be a part of the design world right now. The classics, ever maturing talent and technology are creating a lot of energy.”

Barnes holds a degree from the University of Richmond in Virginia with a double major in Marketing and Management. Extremely involved in the design industry, Barnes has co-created and hosts a career night with Pratt Institute for 12 years. “The memorable moments with students and emotional stories that young designers share mean so much to me,” commented Barnes. “It’s so exciting to see how we can extend learning about design and classics to work trends and environments that are ever evolving.”
