This week, thousands of people will descend on Los Angeles to attend Greenbuild 2016. The world’s largest conference dedicated to green building, Greenbuild attracts architects, contractors and developers, facility managers and interior designers; the list goes on and on. At KI, we embrace our responsibility as a manufacturer to preserve natural resources and protect the environment through sustainable furniture design and Greenbuild is the perfect venue to continue our sustainability conversation.
Here are the top three reasons KI will be attending Greenbuild:
1. “The Green Behind the Red” – KI shares the same passion as those industry professionals mentioned above. While our logo may be red, there’s an element of “green” in everything we do. KI views sustainability as a fundamental way of doing business – one that conserves natural resources and reduces waste, consumption and operating costs.
2. Learning Opportunities & Continuing Education – Nowhere will you find so many experts and industry peers in one place focused on green building. Greenbuild offers three days of educational opportunities to expand our knowledge, share insights and identify what is on the horizon for sustainability. Every year we look forward to connecting with our customers and industry professionals on best practices and sustainability insights.
3. Evoke Architectural Wall – One of KI’s newest products, Evoke Architectural Wall, will be on display at Greenbuild. Evoke showcases KI’s commitment to “going green”. Evoke is a new paradigm in movable wall and permanent construction. It renders drywall virtually obsolete. It is more adaptable, seamless, movable, affordable, and creates quieter spaces than any wall system before it. Evoke is highly recyclable. It is pre-assembled, minimizing dust and debris and is constructed with non-offgassing materials contributing to better indoor air quality for sensitive environments.
