International Company Medium Winner -- DIRTT sprouts global ties from Savannah site

Generally, the term dirtbag is not a sign of affection.

That’s not the case in Savannah since DIRTT Environmental Solutions came to town, though. DIRTTbags is what Canadian company DIRTT calls its employees, and there are now more than 100 DIRTTbags working in Savannah and throughout the state for the manufacturer of customized interiors.

DIRTT is the International Company award winner in the medium-size company category in the Governor’s International Awards sponsored by Atlanta Business Chronicle in partnership with the Georgia Department of Economic Development and the World Trade Center Atlanta. This award honors a Georgia-based company engaged in international business with 100-500 employees that is showing demonstrable achievement and growth and that is actively promoting and sustaining the state’s international business environment.

DIRTT, which has clients ranging from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies, manufactures prefabricated interior construction products such as walls, floors, mill work and power solutions. In addition, its proprietary 3D-ICE software allows its customers to integrate almost every aspect of the construction process to accurately plan their new space.
