Visualize greenhouse gas emissions. A roadway congested with cars and trucks might be the first image that comes to mind. That’s close, but not quite right. The buildings on the side of the road are actually the bigger polluters. The building sector of the U.S. economy uses more energy and emits more greenhouse gases than any other.
