*MOTIV™ seating, one of a number of lines being discontinued by Bretford*

Customers and dealers received news today that Bretford is changing its focus, beginning immediately, by getting out of the traditional furniture business and focusing instead on technology support tools. The company sent the following to its customers and connections:

Current market conditions have forced us to re-examine many aspects of our company. After looking at all the factors that make up our business, we have made the decision to focus on products that support technology such as Mobile Device Carts and Charging Lockers, as well as some of our traditional products like Booktrucks, AV Carts and White Boards. This is truly where our strength lies as a company. We plan to enhance and advance this offering for our customers and end users. Moving forward, the focus for our company will be to support technology products.

As a direct result of that decision, Bretford will no longer produce EDU 2.0, inclusive of EXPLORE® Tables and Seating and MOTIVTM Seating, EmojiTM Desking and Seating, and Basics, inclusive of Connections and Quattro Tables and Accessories, furniture lines. This is not a decision that was taken lightly as we know it affects our employees and many of our goodcustomers.

As of October 31st, 2016, we will no longer be accepting orders for these furniture products. All warranties associated with these product lines will be honored until the end of their specifiedwarranty period.

I truly apologize for whatever inconvenience this causes for your business and your customer. We will do our best to make this transition as painless for you as possible.
