Interface Inc. (Nasdaq: TILE) is relocating its headquarters from Vinings to Midtown, where it will take the entire 40,000-square-foot building on West Peachtree Street near the Arts Center MARTA station.
Interface, a large maker of modular carpet, is partnering with architecture firm Perkins+Will to design the office space. Interface would move into the new Midtown headquarters by mid-2018.
“Moving our global headquarters to Midtown Atlanta allows us to present our design-focused brand, and to demonstrate our commitment to create innovative workplaces that best support our employees’ needs,” said Jay Gould, president and chief operating officer of Interface. “This new space will help our team work together more collaboratively in a creative and nature-inspired space, as well as provide easier access to the heart of the city and bring the vibrancy of Interface to the city.”
