The working relationship between Okko Hotels and Patrick Norguet has been such a success, the Paris-based designer has unveiled his eighth property in as many years, this time in Strasbourg.
Set in a slender new building designed by architect Anne Demians for the Black Swans development in the city’s picturesque André Malroux peninsula, the 120-room hotel draws in natural light through the lobby’s double-height ceilings, while a creamy palette alongside unobtrusive streamlined furniture – such as Artemide wall lamps, wire chairs and light ceramics – render a spaciousness to even the smaller bedrooms.
