The PAIS is a system of desk covers that adapt according to need. Built for open office layouts, it’s a way to customize privacy according to need. To use the PAIS, the pieces just need to be ‘peeled’ off from the wall and re-attached to the table edge. They attach through a band of magnets that run along the edge of the table and along the panels.

Created in select beautiful colors, the panels have a nice texture to them. The designer chose to use felt and real sheep wool for the patent-pending workplace tool. For the ingenious solution to a common open office woe, the Austrian designer received an iF Design Award 2017.

At present, there is no word yet on the availability of the PAIS to the public.
