Knoll, Inc., announced that HOLLY HUNT, the Company’s Chicago-based luxury brand, has named Rick Kilmer as President.
Mr. Kilmer succeeds David Schutte who was named Executive Vice President – Specialty Businesses, earlier this year. In addition to HOLLY HUNT, the Knoll specialty businesses include the following design-driven brands, steeped in the precepts of modernism: KnollStudio, KnollTextiles, Spinneybeck I FilzFelt, Edelman Leather and DatesWeiser.
Knoll acquired HOLLY HUNT, a high design residential showroom resource and provider of furnishings, lighting, textiles and leathers for architects and interior designers, in 2014. Holly Hunt serves as the CEO and creative director of HOLLY HUNT. Since the acquisition, the HOLLY HUNT team has accelerated the brand's growth both domestically and internationally. HOLLY HUNT has opened new showrooms in London, Dallas, Houston and Los Angeles; acquired the Vladimir Kagan Design Group; and introduced a comprehensive line of outdoor furniture.
Most recently, Mr. Kilmer served as president of Flor, the residential carpet tile division of Interface with a multi-channel e-commerce, showroom and catalog presence. Prior, he held positions with Janus et Cie, the to-the-trade outdoor furnishings company, and Kohler, where he served as general manager of Kallista, a boutique brand.
Commenting on Mr. Kilmer’s appointment, Andrew Cogan, Knoll, CEO, said, “Rick brings a great track record of operating stand-alone brands within a larger organization as well as working alongside the founders of a creatively-led business.”
