Office superstore Staples has recalled 124,000 Hazen Mesh Task office chairs due to a potential fall hazard.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall on Tuesday, saying that the legs on the base of the chair can break, posing a fall hazard.

Staples said it has received 20 reports of the legs breaking on the chairs, including three reports of minor cuts and bruises resulting from falls. It recalled the items voluntarily under the Fast Track process, which allows consumers to be alerted about product safety issues more quickly.

The CPSC has advised consumers to immediately stop using the recalled chairs and contact Staples for a free replacement base and replacement instructions.

The chair has a five-wheel base, a black fabric seat cushion and black mesh seat back. The chairs also have the SKU number 1058246 printed on a white label on the underside of the seat cushion.

Manufactured in China, the chairs were sold at Staples stores nationwide and online at www.staples.com, and www.quill.com from October 2014 through April 2017 for between $99 and $179.
