ASID HEADQUARTERS GOES DOUBLE PLATINUM!

On Friday, July 7, the five and a half year journey to build the new headquarters offices of ASID  culminated in the formal presentation of the plaques recognizing fulfillment of certification requirements for LEED Platinum, and WELL Platinum.

In his opening remarks, Randy Fiser, ASID CEO, stated that being the first to achieve both certifications was an honor, but more importantly this highlighted the 26,000-member organization’s commitment to supporting health and wellness in the workplace as well as providing an aesthetically pleasing and functional space. Representing the interior design profession, the successful completion and certification of this space not only demonstrates how thoughtful design matters, but sends a message to other organizations that it can be accomplished at any scale and budget. Being a non-profit, ASID accomplished this even with a challenged budget.
