Office furniture company Interior Workplace Solutions has acquired another office-furniture dealer in Luzerne County, PA.
Upper Macungie Township-based Interior Workplace said in a news release it has acquired Creative Business Interiors of Wilkes-Barre. Interior Workplace and plans to roll Creative’s eight employees into one of its divisions and maintain Creative’s showroom and distribution facility under the Creative name.
Financial terms were not disclosed, and messages left with Interior Workplace were not returned. Interior Workplace President Gary Clewell said in the release that the combined company will enable it to leverage collective resources, expertise and experience.
Interior Workplace, which is more than 20 years old and operates in the Lehigh Valley and Berks County, will be able to expand its territory into parts of central and northeastern Pennsylvania, according to the news release.
Interior Workplace sells office furniture for business, hospitals, schools and government, and both companies carry the Steelcase furniture brand.
