Polly Dithmer Is New Interiors Practice Leader in HOK’s Los Angeles Studio

Dithmer has considerable experience leading design teams for workplace, education, civic and cultural, and healthcare interiors projects. She brings an enterprising nature and a talent for using design to solve problems.

“We’re excited for Polly to join HOK as interiors practice leader,” said Cara MacArthur, IIDA, LEED AP, director of interiors in Los Angeles. “As a creative and strategic thinker, she will be key in building and strengthening our relationships with clients.”

Dithmer’s past clients include FM Global, Fidelity Investments, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Harvard Business School, IBM, Broward Center for the Performing Arts and the Skirball Cultural Center.

Though born in the United States, Dithmer grew up in São Paulo, Brazil, and San José, Costa Rica. She earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior and Industrial Design from Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Art in Psychology from Lesley University. In her spare time, she enjoys creating large-scale oil paintings.

HOK’s recent interiors projects in Los Angeles include the Pharmavite Headquarters, LinkedIn’s campus, Alibaba Pictures’ officeDentsu Aegis Network’s office and USC’s Michelson Hall.
