JLL made an announcement about the launch of NXT Office in the UK. This is an immersive and unique technology set to revolutionize how occupants look for new office space across London.
NXT Office, designed by JLL, offers a way to occupiers to exchange info, facilitate selection and speed up the process of decision making when it comes to finding accommodations.
The NXT Office studio, built and designed by a subsidiary of JLL called Tetris and will be located at JLL’s UK headquarters in London. It offers a collaborative setting for new real estate experiences.
Clients move with easy between and within the potential new office buildings via a virtual experience that lets them see what the spaces would be like. Occupiers can interact with control plans, images and data manipulated by infra-red sensors. There are nine interconnected screens ensuring the highest quality user experience which is able to present a number of facets of the search process simultaneously. Nine interconnected screens help make this possible.
The NXT Office combines technology such as Oblong Industries’ Mezzanine app and CoCreate by Engage Works, using a bespoke app custom built for JLL.
“The NXT Office technology was created to support clients in managing their location strategies and offers a digital journey that makes use of the latest technologies combined with exclusive data sets,” Richard Howling, chief operating officer at JLL said. “Our key objective is to assist companies to make informed property choices through a quicker and simplified selection process.”
“Our NXT Office studio will completely transform the process of selecting new office space for clients,” Neil Prime head of Central London offices at JLL said. “The time involved in moving from long-list to short-list will be cut dramatically as occupiers will have detailed access to available properties, of which they will be able to enjoy a guided virtual tour supported by pioneering technology.”
First launched by JLL’s Paris team, NXT Office’s key objectives is to assist companies in more-informed decision making. NXT Office is connected to multiple intelligent databases users can make use for greater economic and social insights.
