Bita Salamat, AIA, has been named the new associate vice president and corporate interiors principal for HGA Architects and Engineers in Los Angeles. Salamat will draw from more than 25 years in the industry as she lends her expertise to business development, client relations, and workplace strategies that expand the firm’s corporate interiors practice.

“This is an exciting opportunity to help expand the office’s Corporate Interiors services for leading clients throughout Los Angeles and contribute to HGA’s firm-wide legacy for impactful design,” she said.

Salamat previously served as interior design management leader for Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) and worked for HLW International as a principal. She obtained both a masters of architecture and a bachelor of science in architecture from the University of Maryland.
