BuzziSpace Introduces BuzziZepp

BuzziZepp is an impressive shield of light, offering acoustic control and privacy without vertical barriers.

Conceived by designer Alain Gilles as an “imaginary island,” BuzziZepp visually delineates and brings a sense of tranquility to large open spaces.

With its striking linear design, BuzziZepp hovers down to define zones without obstruction, establishing a more intimate, quiet and purposeful sense of space, without the need for vertical partitions or walls.

“For a long time, I've been wanting to extend my design portfolio to include sound absorbing lighting, and now this has become a reality thanks to the collaboration with BuzziSpace,” said Alain Gilles, designer. “My challenge was to create a solution that blended the functionality of a traditional acoustical treatment with the elegance and visual weightlessness of a hanging light. The result utiliz- ing otherwise unused space between the floor and ceiling, while creating a more open and airy environment.”

BuzziZepp effectively combats low, mid and high frequency tones. The slim framework is made of up- holstered acoustic panels, engineered to absorb sound and reduce echo, and is outfitted with dimmable LED lines, which can be adjusted for various situations. Dim the lights to set a more relaxed tone at your next meeting, or brighten your workstation to focus on the task at hand.

BuzziZepp measures 117cm wide and is available in two standard lengths (200cm and 300cm). It can be upholstered in a range of fabrics to fit any space.
