Love Legos so much that you wish you could decorate your home with them? Now you can—to a degree—thanks to Italian design collective Stüda, which has created a series of furniture embedded with studs that can hold those little iconic plastic blocks.
The simple, modular pieces include a credenza and a storage cube that feature Lego-compatible door fronts, sides, and top surfaces made from Corian. They are propped up on black steel supports and come in white and yellow.
Appealing to children and adults alike, the collection allows for endless creation, adaptation, and play, and can even function as a display of sorts for other impressive Lego sets. What’s more, you can change up your color scheme in a snap (pun intended), instead of repainting, which always feels like a major undertaking.
Though it’s not quite on the level of Bjarke Ingels’s Lego House, you have to start somewhere, aka, building blocks. What do you think? Ingenious or childish?
