28% Of Employees Do Not Believe Their Workplace Enables Productivity

A recent study discovered that poorly planned workplaces have a significant impact on employee morale and performance, reports Buildings. The workplace efficacy assessor Leesman released the report, which examines how organizations can increase employee motivation through the environment they provide.

The data indicates that 28 percent of study participants worldwide don’t agree that their workplace lets them be productive.

Though there is a renewed focus on wellness and health in professional spaces, the findings reveal that significant numbers of employees still endure working facilities that don’t support their daily obligations, inhibiting their ability to the success of their business.

“What this report demonstrates is that there is still more that organizations need to be doing if they’re going to leverage the workplace as a source of competitive advantage and a booster of organizational performance,” said Tim Oldman, CEO of Leesman. “We still see far too many workplaces that are simply not fit for purpose and that represents a huge missed opportunity for business leaders.”
