Ware Malcomb acquires Southern California-based Workspace Plans

Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced it has acquired WorkSpace Plans, a Southern California-based building measurement services company. The move augments the scope of Ware Malcomb’s planning, architecture, interior design, branding and civil engineering services for commercial and corporate clients by offering the latest technology and expertise in building measurement.

Owned and founded by Jill Burns and Kim Von Der Ahe-Arial, WorkSpace Plans provides laser accurate "As Built" floorplans for commercial, industrial, healthcare, retail and residential space using the latest in laser measuring technology.  Over the past several years, the company has built a reputation for delivering accurate floor plans with quick turn-around times at competitive fees. The company will operate under the name WorkSpace Plans, a Ware Malcomb Company during the next year as its operations are integrated into Ware Malcomb.

In addition to providing building measurement services to Ware Malcomb’s existing clients, Burns and Arial will also have the opportunity to provide additional resources and geographic reach to the current clients of WorkSpace Plans.
