Park by Norm Architects combines Danish craftsmanship and Allsteel’s heritage to create a portfolio of products that approaches collaborative environments in a new and innovative way. After extensive evaluation of the traditional open plan, it was concluded that collaborative and social spaces are the first to be reduced or eliminated to make room for organizational growth. Social spaces disappear and products lose their place and ultimately become unused rather than repurposed. Norm Architects has designed a collection of soft seating, tables, storage and accessories that provides the ultimate solution to this ongoing challenge. Each element of the Park by Norm Architects portfolio has a purposeful design responding to the need for collaboration, privacy, wellness and division of space. Individually or when paired with one another, the products are intended to be long-term solutions that can be repositioned and repurposed as a company’s needs change. The collection offers the ultimate in functionality, flexibility, reconfigurability, and usability utilizing a process that allows Allsteel to achieve the elegant curvature of the seating design while providing maximum comfort for the end-user.

Agile townhall is a new collection of movable soft seating, tables and accessories inspired by human-centric design - movable, but not mobile. The collection takes its cues from real-life work situations - learning from observed behaviors and supporting multiple functions, new postures and diverse activities and provides a system of components that create agile micro-environments with individual objects that complement and add variety to the landscape. Created in partnership with Rainlight, the agile townhall portfolio is comprised of several distinct and unique products that address a variety of needs in the workplace and beyond. Peak is a lounge grouping of chairs, chaises, ottomans and tables characterized by their organic, pebble-like shapes which vary in height and geometry. The asymmetrical design offers unique compositions to support a range of tasks and settings. Summit is a lightweight stacking stool, with footrest and slight ‘bounce’ allowing for movement. Picnic is a collection of seated and bar height tables, seats, benches and stools, narrow in scale to fit the ‘in-between’ space. Rock, which won a Best of NeoCon Gold award in the Education Solutions category, provides a fun, captivating option to the rocking chair or beanbag and celebrates the ‘fidget’. Its unique shape supports an upright posture for engaged participation, while providing a base that encourages action and motion. Wedge is a high-back chair designed for moments of both collaboration and respite. Cloud is a discreet and thoughtfully designed screen that provides privacy where it’s needed and is aesthetically pleasing when positioned on its own.
