Rottet Studio Celebrates a Decade of Design

Rottet Studio’s President and Founding Principal Lauren Rottet with David Davis and Richard Riveire, and the entire Rottet Studio staff recently gathered in Palm Springs to celebrate the architecture and interior design firm’s tenth anniversary. The partners with their team held a retreat at the desert outpost of the Parker Palm Springs to celebrate their first decade together while planning the company’s continued growth. The tranquil setting provided a relaxed atmosphere for employees to discuss recent accomplishments and tour mid-century properties including the homes of Frank Sinatra, Gene Autry and Albert Frey. No retreat is complete without discussing future initiatives and the studio’s topics highlighted information sharing, 3-D presentations and advancing design.

Lauren Rottet with Rottet Studio has created some of the most iconic hospitality projects in recent years including The Surrey, New York; St Regis Aspen; Four Seasons Hotel Bogotá as well as newcomers like the Pendry, San Diego; Renaissance Atlanta; Kimpton Everly Hotel, Hollywood Hills and the new Hotel Alessandra located in Rottet’s hometown.

In addition, Rottet Studio is an international architecture and interior design firm with an extensive portfolio of projects for the world’s leading Fortune 100 companies and brands including Goldman Sachs, Paul Hastings, Viacom, Disney, New York Stock Exchange, United Talent Agency, Target, NW Mutual, Comcast, Hines, Howard Hughes Company, Brookfield and Extell. This past year, Rottet Collection, an award-winning furniture line, launched in Chicago at Neocon while a new book Authentic Design (Rizzoli) features Rottet’s signature work. Upcoming projects include interior design for a ground-up tower in San Francisco with Renzo Piano, The Conrad Hotel with Herzog & de Meuron in Washington D.C. and interiors for MAD Architects' upcoming Beverly Hills residential village, the Gardenhouse. Also nearing completion is the Central Park Tower, slated to be the world’s tallest residential building.
