In response to the trend for enclosed private areas that facilitate individual headspace and support increased focus and privacy in the workplace, Boss Design has unveiled the TP4 range of telephone booths.
Featuring four pre-configured models, the new TP4 booths provide a private acoustic space (up to 34dB) for today's evolving workplace. From individual focused work, to telephone or video calls, they offer a refuge from everyday distractions.
“Lack of privacy and noise are two of the biggest gripes of the open plan office. Our latest range of telephone booths not only help to eliminate everyday distractions, they are also designed to meet the needs of the modern workplace. They fit perfectly into the Welcome and Home Habitats, as well as Flow Habitats that may otherwise remain unused,” says Mark Barrell, Design Director at Boss Design.
“All TP4 specifications provide the perfect getaway space to 'drop in' to or make a private call, offering a short-term solution to focused working that many offices don't currently provide. It also leaves meeting rooms free for larger groups that need the space,” adds Mark.
Both the TP4/Focus and TP4/Classic provide the perfect escape for individual privacy. Complete with levelling plinth, work shelf, power and USB charging point, the TP4/Focus incorporates a more generous work shelf for extended periods of working. Both specifications feature distinctive oak relief outer panels and a red/green LED occupancy indicator light.
The TP4/Black and TP4/Lite come complete with work shelf and boast fluted panels adding elegance and detail. Whilst the former includes power and USB charging points with a striking monochrome aesthetic, the latter is pared back, yet without compromise.
TP4 booths also offer fully customizable options including a work shelf with optional power point and USB charge, handle in a choice of finish and color, latch handle with lock, LED downlights and LED quad strip lighting, occupancy indicator and concealed airflow unit.
