Landscape Forms has announced the appointment of Kirt Martin as Chief Creative Officer. “Since joining Landscape Forms, Kirt has been instrumental in shaping our world-class brand and product designs as well as strengthening our position as a resource and thought leader within the outdoor site furnishings, lighting, and structure industries,” explains Landscape Forms President and CEO Richard Heriford. “With his high-level experience in commercial furniture design and marketing, Martin’s background enhances the scope of the vision of Landscape Forms. By promoting Kirt to Chief Creative Officer, we are preparing for a future of continued brand growth and leadership.”
Martin first came to Landscape Forms in 2012 as Vice President of Design and Marketing. In his role as CCO, he is responsible for the Art of all things marketing, which includes directing and managing the Creative Teams (Design and Marketing Communications) and their output - company branding, product design, marketing communications, public relations, all design touchpoints and message development. Martin will continue to serve in this role as a member of the Landscape Forms Executive Management team which includes Robb Smalldon, Executive VP of Development; Jodi L. Havera, VP Finance and CFO; Eric Swanson, VP Sales; Jim Marshall, VP Culture; and Leif Norland, VP Studio 431.
Kirt Martin is a multiple award-winning industrial designer who prior to joining Landscape Forms served as an executive for 17 years at Steelcase Inc. As Landscape Forms Vice President of Design and Marketing, Kirt has played an important role in the company’s robust growth, market expansion, and introduction of groundbreaking products. His work is informed by the conviction that experience of outdoor space promotes social and civic engagement, human health and well-being.
