Interior Contract Services (ICS) Florida’s oldest furniture provider announced the transition of Larry Weed from CEO to the position of chairman of the board. Stephen Weed, who currently serves as Vice President Operations will assume the role of Chief Executive Officer of the company on January 7th.

Interior Contract Services has been in business for more than 40 years providing furniture services to businesses, healthcare, education and government clients mainly in Central Florida.

"For four decades now we’ve been providing top notch furniture solutions to the people of Florida,” said Larry Weed, owner of ICS. Weed played a major role in the transformation and growth of the company over the past 4 decades. Stephen Weed remarked on his uncle “I’m so proud of his incredible achievement and I’m prepared to follow his footsteps with the assistance of our great employees who are committed to delivering excellent products and service to our customers and clients. The furniture industry is experiencing rapid change and evolution with frequent consolidation occurring within the market. ICS announced in December to expand beyond the Orlando market with additional locations in the Southeast over the next several years.
