The Specialty Interiors business of Milliken & Company has key new placements for Fall Market for its popular Breathe by Milliken collection of eco-elegant performance fabrics.
The Breathe collection features cleanable cottons and cotton/linens and polyesters made from recycled plastic bottles, available in a fresh neutral palette. The new Fall Market placements include first-time customers and the expansion of offerings with existing customers, all of whom recognize Breathe by Milliken's critical role in meeting continued market demand for luxurious and sustainable performance options. Among the new placements are Jessica Charles, Younger Furniture, EJ Victor, Highland House and Four Seasons.
“Our customers have been asking for performance fabric options, so we've been looking for a domestic partner for our new performance introductions,” said Regenia Payne, creative director, Hancock & Moore and Jessica Charles. “The Breathe by Milliken product offers not only beautiful dimension to a body cloth, but the performance story necessary for everyday living. Milliken also has the marketing program to help translate the performance characteristics at retail, making them a very attractive partner for us.”
Offering the ultimate in sustainable performance, Breathe upholstery fabrics are unique because they have a plant-based water-repellent that is durable, repels everyday stains and cleans easily without PFCs, fire retardants or other chemicals of concern. Breathe by Milliken fabrics have also earned GREENGUARD® GOLD certification, ensuring that they meet strict chemical emissions limits and enhancing the indoor air quality of living spaces.
“The Breathe by Milliken collection is the ideal choice for consumers who want fabric solutions that offer protection without sacrificing aesthetics or the environment,” said Jennifer K. Harmon, vice president, Milliken Specialty Interiors. “We believe this demand will only continue to grow, as end-users become more aware of our innovative options now available to them.”
