One of Buffalo’s main suppliers of office furniture and design services is introducing a new division that will offer full interior construction design and build-out of office space using prefabricated systems that can be built, renovated and maintained more easily.

Millington Lockwood Inc. is rebranding its Structures Group as AMP Interior Construction, and investing in a showroom and construction laboratory for the division at 3901 Genesee St. The group will expand the company's business – traditionally centered around being a certified dealer of Herman Miller furniture – by offering more comprehensive design services that encompass the entire look of an office space.

Founded 135 years ago, Millington expanded into interior construction more than a decade ago, and has worked on projects in the banking, higher education, government and health care sectors regionally and nationally.

The company employs 80 in sales, interior design, project management, construction management, installation, certified trades and customer service.
