Ware Malcomb, an award-winning international design firm, today announced Ilyes Nouizi has been promoted to Associate Principal, Resource Services in the firm’s Irvine, Calif. headquarters office. In this role, Nouizi continues to lead the firm’s in-house Production Studio, a dedicated production team that supports all of Ware Malcomb's 22 offices across North America.

Ware Malcomb’s in-house Production Studio provides a unique and innovative approach to the production of contract documents as part of the firm’s overall Project Delivery System. The Production Studio provides large volumes of high-quality construction drawings at an accelerated pace to service each of Ware Malcomb’s 22 offices. This dedicated and highly-trained group of in-house production professionals enables the firm to consistently produce construction drawings that are complete, accurate, and seamlessly coordinated with the project team.
Nouizi brings over 17 years of experience in the architecture industry to his new role. He joined Ware Malcomb in 2003 as part the firm's production resource team and has since been promoted multiple times. In 2013 he was promoted to Director, Resource Services and quickly became an integral part of the Production Studio’s leadership and success. His experience includes the production of contract documents, working drawings, conducting site evaluations and inspections, and consultant coordination. He also has in-depth knowledge of Building Information Modeling (BIM) and computer-aided drafting using Revit and AutoCAD. Nouizi has been involved in many of Ware Malcomb's largest, most complex projects. His diverse background includes work on corporate office, multistory distribution, retail, industrial, warehouse, healthcare, hospitality, entertainment and residential projects.
A licensed architect in the state of California, Nouizi holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Ecole Polytechnique d’Architecture & d’Urbanisme in Algeria.
