To refresh their existing headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, hospitality leader Marriott International looked to incorporate social spaces into the design. They wanted to activate and energize the workplace for their employees, while matching the hospitable nature of their hotel lobbies. With our Social Spaces, they were able to add a variety of spaces that inspire employees to gather, connect, and refresh, while supporting their collaboration, creativity, and effectiveness.
Watch as Helene Oberman of Interior Design Magazine tours the renovated headquarters with Marriott International’s Jim Young and Kurt Vander Schuur of Haworth, discussing the importance of offering variety and choice in the workplace.
