Kimball International, Inc. announced it has appointed Koorosh Sharghi to the newly created position of Vice President, Strategy and Transformation, effective immediately. He will be responsible for leading the company’s transformational growth strategy and integration efforts. Sharghi will report to Kimball International CEO Kristie Juster and partner with the senior leadership team to deliver on business strategy execution in the Kimball, National and Kimball Hospitality businesses in alignment with Kimball International’s long-term growth strategy.

Sharghi joins Kimball International with more than 14 years of experience in business transformation, integration, program leadership, finance, operations, digital marketing and marketing operations. Sharghi joins Kimball International from Radio Systems Corporation, a leader in the pet durables industry, where he led the centralization of the global marketing function. Previously, during his five-year tenure at Newell Brands, Sharghi held a variety of senior strategy and operations leadership roles. At Newell Brands, he was instrumental in building center-led functions, leading high-performance, cross-functional teams and driving sustainable transformation. He also spearheaded value engineering initiatives delivering significant cost savings through more efficient manufacturing processes while improving the consumer experience. Prior to Newell Brands, he held key finance roles at Kimberly-Clark Corporation and Marriott International supporting newly built finance shared services functions.
Sharghi earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Tennessee Wesleyan College.
