Allsteel Inc. announced that three of their newest collections that launched at the NeoCon World’s Trade Show in Chicago were distinguished with design awards. On Sunday, June 9th, the Two-Thirds™ collection designed by Joey Ruiter was awarded an Interior Design HiP Award in the Education, Government, Institutional: Seating category. The following day, Radii by IDA Design was honored with Contract Magazine’s Best of NeoCon Gold award in the Office Accessories category, and Beyond pavilion received the Best of NeoCon Silver award in the Movable Walls category.
Hosted by Interior Design, the HiP awards at NeoCon honor industry people and innovative products that are on display at the Merchandise Mart during the show. The winners of the sixth annual HiP Awards were announced on Sunday, June 9th in a ceremony hosted by Interior Design'. Two-Thirds™, an agile seating and surfaces solution by Joey Ruiter for Allsteel Inc., incorporates geometric shapes and lightweight design for a collection that adjusts and adapts as readily as teams do. From impromptu meetings to restful moments spent solo, the airy, volumetric designs create comfort across the workplace and in-between spaces.
The Best of NeoCon Competition presented by Contract Magazine honors new products exhibited during NeoCon in June, celebrating products in 42 categories that have been introduced to the U.S. market since the close of NeoCon 2018. Jurors are architects and designers, as well as corporate, education, healthcare, and government facilities management executives who are responsible for selecting and buying furniture and furnishings for their clients or organizations.
