AIS recently received four 2019 Office Furniture Dealer Alliance (OFDA) Dealers’ Choice Awards in the categories of Workstations, Casegoods, Seating and Tables.
AIS has been recognized by the OFDA for various product awards for the past 11 years.
OFDA President and CEO Mike Tucker presented the awards to members of AIS’s senior leadership team during NeoCon in AIS’s permanent showroom at The Merchandise Mart (theMART) in Chicago.
“2019 is a milestone year for AIS. Not only are we proud to be celebrating our 30thanniversary, but also we’re honored to receive four awards for product recognition by the OFDA. We’re fortunate to work with such a strong and dedicated community of dealers, and we strive every day to demonstrate our commitment to them. Our ever-expanding line of furniture and the speed we bring products to market is second-to-none, and we are very thankful that our dealers have taken notice once again,” AIS President and CEO Bruce Platzman said.
This is the first year AIS has been honored in the Tables category. The company recently launched its Day-to-Day™ Tables product line, which consists of working, meeting and learning solutions, and has expanded its Calibrate® Conferencing line, comprised of formal and casual meeting solutions.
This year’s OFDA Dealers’ Choice Survey ran from early March to the end of April. According to OFDA, the survey is a carefully structured, anonymous dealer poll that measures six functional areas of manufacturer performance that are of greatest importance to a diverse cross-section of dealers throughout North America. The survey provides product category-level feedback from dealers of all sizes on the full range of support they receive from their primary non-aligned suppliers. Dealers are asked to rate these top-volume, non-aligned suppliers in each of six product categories recognized by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) based on their 2018 interaction. The six product categories are: Casegoods, Storage, Filing,Tables, Seatingand Workstations/Systems. The purpose of the survey is to promote an open discussion of business issues between dealers and manufacturers and improve the office furniture industry overall.
