Landscape Forms announced the appointment of Brian Walker to its board of directors.
The privately-owned company headquartered in Kalamazoo, Michigan, recently celebrated its 50th year in business and has more than 400 employees worldwide. Walker is a tenured executive with more than thirty years of successful experience leading companies with a focus on finance, international business, strategy development, and operational transformation. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Brian Walker to the Landscape Forms Board of Directors,” said Bill Main, Chairman. “Brian is uniquely qualified and well-suited to help us deliver great design, culture and craft in a world full of opportunities and choices. For the past two years, Walker has served as Partner, Strategic Leadership, for Huron Capital where he plays a critical role in helping generate superior operating and financial performance within its portfolio of companies. He plays a hands-on role at Huron, providing both the business insights and strategic direction to help create value within the private equity environment. Prior to joining Huron Capital, Walker spent 29 years with Herman Miller, most recently as its Chief Executive Officer from 2004 to 2018. Prior to serving as CEO, he served Herman Miller in multiple senior-level executive positions, including President, Chief Operating Officer, President of Herman Miller North America, Chief Financial Officer, and Executive Vice President. Before joining Herman Miller, Walker worked as a Certified Public Accountant for the accounting firm of Arthur Andersen. He also served as a Director of the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, President of The Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturer’s Association (BIFMA), and Director of Business Leaders for Michigan.
