In the light of the current pandemic and the renewed tightening of travel restrictions, Messe Frankfurt will not hold any physical trade fairs of its own at the Frankfurt am Main venue up to and including March 2021.
In an official press release, Wolfgang Marzin, Chairman of the Board of Management of Messe Frankfurt, announced: "Our early decision is important for our customers, because now is the time to trigger the investments for the trade fair participations. Messe Frankfurt will consistently continue to place the interests of the exhibiting industries at the centre of its decisions in close cooperation with its customers".
In this context, Heimtextil, the biggest international trade fair for home and contract textiles, will be held from 4 to 7 May 2021 instead of early January – parallel to Techtextil, the leading international trade fair for technical textiles and nonwovens, and Texprocess, the leading international trade fair for the processing of textiles and flexible materials. Thus, the entire textile value chain can be experienced at the Frankfurt Fair and Exhibition Centre at the same time. (am)
