Be Original Americas, the non-profit advocacy group for authentic design, has launched on-demand virtual programming that is now available to the public with 22 participating design companies covering the design process. Through innovative lectures and tours students, lifelong learners, and design enthusiasts at any stage in their career can learn about the entire design progress from leading manufacturers, creators, and architecture and interior design firms in the industry.
In educating the next generation of creatives, Be Original Americas made the choice to pivot from the traditionally in-person Be Original Americas fellowship to an entirely virtual platform. The Summer 2020 program coordinated live webinars and corresponding Q&A sessions hosted by member companies and benefitted 3,400+ registered students from 33 different countries spanning five continents. The highly accessible format provided insight into the professional design process and the value of authentic design to future architects, designers, and entrepreneurs across the globe.
Now, in making the sessions available to the public, Be Original Americas continues their investment in the education of future architects, designers, and entrepreneurs so that others may experience first-hand the innovative lectures that comprised this landmark initiative in design education.
