Kimball International announced today that it has launched Interwoven, a groundbreaking furnishings brand that challenges the status quo in health through person-centered design.
With a focus on research-based innovation and informed by its team’s longstanding industry expertise, Interwoven provides thoughtful and purposeful solutions to the health care marketplace, enabling its clients to safely care for patients, families, staff and community.
Interwoven is dedicated to improving outcomes and experiences for providers, patients and their families. Its work is driven by broad-based research, shaped through active listening to clients’ needs and honed by a team with many years of on-the-ground experience achieving desired outcomes.
Interwoven grows out of a number of longstanding partnerships between Kimball International and the health community. As a part of the company’s recently launched Health Business Unit, Interwoven joins the Kimball International family of brands, which includes Kimball, National, Etc., Kimball Hospitality, D’style and Poppin.
Interwoven’s initial collections will include an array of furnishings suited for every type of health setting, from patient recliners to home-like lounge seating to modular caseworks. It offers a unique value proposition in a $9 billion marketplace that is primed for growth.
“As health undergoes a transformational shift unlike any seen in the last century, Interwoven will anticipate trends and stay ahead of change in order to respond to customer needs,” said Phyllis Goetz, president of Kimball International’s Health Business Unit. “Our expert team will deliver thought leadership, design, and specification services that allow our clients to reimagine their spaces and elevate patient experiences.”
