NxT studio designed the office of global fashion brand KSGBlocated in Los Angeles, California
The interior design tells the story a former garment or shoe manufacturing warehouse converted for an innovative international apparel company. The historic designation of the building was celebrated, with a hint of retail glitz to make it hip and relevant to a young employees and industry buyers of shoes. The brands of the six shoe companies under the corporate umbrella of KSGB were reflected in the design. Large custom architectural scale graphics were introduced to “carry the eye” through the space.
Wide plank oak wood flooring with low sheen wire brushed finish was paired with the existing exposed brick walls. Columns were clad in similar new brick, but skim coated with plaster and then wire brushed to give them a matching “aged” look. Existing metal perforated doors were re-purposed and silk screened for the companies four logo letters.
