Stantec designed the offices for Wix.com, a worldwide leading cloud-based web development platform, located in Miami Beach, Florida.
The Wix.com office was designed to retain its majority millennial staff and attract potential employees. The workstations with electronic sit-to-stand benching desks are located by the windows so that all employees have access to daylight and views of the popular Lincoln Road neighborhood. Designated lounge areas were created for staff to take breaks from answering daily one-on-one technical calls.
The epicenter of the new office space is Wix’s employee lounge where the company provides staff with catered meals for both breakfast and lunch. An adjacent multi-purpose game room is another area designed for employees to relax and play pool, watch movies or partake in yoga classes.
