AIS Unveils New Website

AIS has unveiled a new website to reflect its evolving company brand launched earlier this year.

“AIS is about innovation, agility and a passion for great products,” said Vice President of Marketing Tracy Reed. “These values propel us forward and inform the way we engage with people. Our website captures this AIS spirit and will be a powerful platform for helping us connect with our dealer partners, designers and customers. It also will be a great tool for recruiting new employees and for sharing our news with the media.”

The website is based on how users navigate sites and look at office furniture. It uses “responsive design,” which means it automatically reformats to provide the best visual experience based on the user's viewing device, whether that's a computer, tablet or smartphone. A straightforward site structure and a simple search function make it easy to find content.

Site visitors can browse all AIS products — panel systems, benching and desking, laminate casegoods, tables and conferencing, storage, seating, work tools and accessories. Spaces can be viewed by application, such as open-office plans, private offices and conference areas. AIS's showrooms at its headquarters in Massachusetts and in New York City, Chicago and Washington, D.C., are visually displayed on the site. Client spaces and case studies — for example, Vortex Optics, TrueFit and Vertex Pharmaceuticals — also are showcased.

A resource section includes important product information, the multitudes of fabrics and finishes, design resources, GSA and state contract information and the AIS Image Library.

The website's image library has been expanded and enhanced. This virtual, one-stop shop is an extensive resource for high-resolution, visual product content, including professional photography, renderings, snapshots and videos. Individual products and products depicted in designed spaces are featured.

A search tool on the image library allows designers to locate exactly what they're looking for by typing in keywords.

“The demand for product imagery resonated throughout the organization and within our dealer channel,” Reed said. “Our image library has become an invaluable tool and a game-changer in helping to educate people about our products.

“There are so many great images and impressive videos for use in presentations and inspiration boards. Salespeople access the library daily to send the latest images to clients or examples of products that they're proposing to a client.”

The image library contains nearly 2,000 items. About 25 images are added each week. Hundreds of users from all over the country access and use the library weekly.
