With the launch of Cyl, the centerpiece of Vitra's presentation at NeoCon, Ronan & Erwan Bouroullec are introducing a new furniture range of tables and sofas that represents the antithesis of the cold, technical office environment. With its handcrafted natural aesthetic, it brings the atmosphere of home into the workplace.

Solid wood emphasises the clean lines of the system with its smooth planes, structural frame and cylindrical elements. As a rather uncommon material in office settings, solid wood conveys a handcrafted, natural aesthetic and infuses a touch of emotion into the look and feel of the workplace.

The Cyl system encompasses different tables and a sofa with side and back panels in various heights. As an intentionally 'analogue' system, Cyl is suited for basic workspaces and meeting environments in which there is a desire for reductive aesthetics with a sensuous appeal.
