International Contemporary Furniture Fair and WantedDesign Manhattan to Co-locate from May 2020

International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), North America's leading platform for global design, announced that WantedDesign Manhattan, a platform dedicated to promoting design and fostering the international creative community, will co-locate with ICFF for future shows. Together, the two shows will present more than 800 design-driven exhibitors, May 17-20, 2020 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City.

“The ICFF-WantedDesign Manhattan co-location brings together two unique brands under one roof, creating a not-to-be-missed North American design industry event for architects, interior designers, developers and retailers,” said Phil Robinson, Show Director, ICFF. “We're committed to fostering the growth and evolution of both of these events in the coming years as they respond to ever- changing industry needs.”

“After nine successful years at the Terminal Stores building, we're excited to embark on the next chapter for WantedDesign Manhattan and to bring the fair to a new level,” said co-founders Odile Hainaut and Claire Pijoulat. “We look forward to leveraging the resources of ICFF, and benefiting from cross-promotion with the show, while also maintaining the identity and essence of WantedDesign Manhattan.”

Hainaut and Pijoulat will remain directors of WantedDesign Manhattan and will consult with the ICFF team to propose exciting and meaningful ways to present both shows in one venue while improving the overall experience for both exhibitors and attendees.

At the Javits Center, WantedDesign Manhattan will continue to showcase its signature programs: American Design Honors presented with Bernhardt Design; Launch Pad presented with Design Milk; and Look Book focusing on North American independent studios. It will also include Wanted Interiors with immersive and new visions for Interiors, as well as group exhibitions from all over the world. The Conversation Series and live podcasts with Design Milk and Clever will be maintained as opportunities to connect with key industry decision makers at WantedDesign Manhattan.

Independent from WantedDesign Manhattan, Hainaut and Pijoulat will continue to develop

WantedDesign Brooklyn at Industry City in May and will operate the IC Store by Wanted Design year-round.
