ORGATEC is continuing its impressive growth of 2018. Less than a year before the event and the signs for ORGATEC 2020 are very positive. For the comparable time period, the result of leased space is currently 13 percent higher than that of the previous event in 2018. Well over 500 companies have already decided to take part in the leading international trade fair for modern working environments. This is 25 percent more than the same period two years ago. The good preliminary results are mainly due to the large number of new companies or those exhibiting for the first time such as Ashton Bentley, Baux, Boss Design, dynamobel, Engelbrechts, Girsberger, Martex, Oka, Preform, Rolf Benz and Tobias Grau.
In 2020 as well, ORGATEC will be setting the pace for the design of modern working environments of today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow with selected events. Distinguished speakers at the congresses and talks, special events and other industry highlights will provide trade visitors with comprehensive information as well as plenty of opportunities for professional exchange within the industry.
New: ORGATEC Architects Summit 2020
Together with Frame and other partners, ORGATEC is organising the “ORGATEC Architects Summit” for the first time. This is a congress format for architects, which prepares various topics for architects as well as the real estate industry throughout the entire trade fair. The topics include digitalisation, acoustics, sustainability, lighting, offices in “public spaces” and best practice examples of special solutions.
Robot-led tour of five key working environments of the future
Another event highlight of the upcoming ORGATEC will be a special presentation area on the North Boulevard. Dr. Ruth Stock-Homburg from the “Leap in time” institute at TU Darmstadt will show her realisation of ORGATEC's “Variety of Work” motto based on study results. “Leap in time” will give international visitors a tangible experience of various working environments in a special way. In addition, guided tours as well as questions about the working environments will be led and answered by both robots and human experts.
euvend & coffeena 2020 co-located with ORGATEC
One especially exciting announcement from the organisers is that three days of the upcoming edition of ORGATEC will be co-located with euvend & coffeena. euvend & coffeena is the leading international trade fair for vending and office coffee service. It is where new work meets new retail. New to-go concepts from the out-of-home sector for the office and project business will be presented. The co-location of the events opens up new opportunities for ORGATEC visitors in these market segments.
