Inscape's RockIt Bench has been recognized with a 2019 GOOD DESIGN award, the world's most prestigious and oldest Design Awards program organized annually by The Chicago Athenaeum Museum of Architecture and Design in cooperation with the European Centre for Architecture, Art, Design and Urban Studies.
RockIt is a light scale bench that is designed to utilize natural materials to create diverse environments, including Resimercial, Industrial Chic and Mid-Century Modern. Biophilic elements such as extended planters for ample greenery and natural wood details bring nature inside. No two offices have the same needs. No two colleagues have the same wants. RockIt's adaptable accessories cover everything you need – from storage and display to privacy and a place to plug-in.
One of the most innovative features of RockIt is the patented SkyRockIt height adjustable technology. Virtually hidden from the side profile without any additional legs underneath or accessories on top, the sleek, cantilevered pneumatic lift is a revelation for those looking to add height adjustability without compromising design.
“We are honored that RockIt has received the prestigious Good Design award,” said David Gerson, Chief Brand Officer at Inscape. “RockIt is a tremendously flexible solution for the open office. We are thrilled to be recognized along with some of the world's most visionary companies such as 3M, Fitbit, Google, Microsoft, Porsche, and Verizon Wireless.”
RockIt has achieved BIFMA level 3 and SCS Indoor Advantage Gold certification. It is manufactured in North America with a high percentage of locally sourced materials, including steel, aluminum and wood which contain up to 85% recycled content. RockIt's Nuform Worksurfaces are FSC certified.
