The end result shows that simple design can be edgy. Their office lets the grit and heritage of the industrial neighborhood’s exposed brick and rafters take center stage, complemented with a sleek color palette. Their custom furniture offers interesting shapes and flexibility for workers. To meet the web design shop’s technology needs and its cultural wants, there’s a careful balance of public and private spaces. The design highlights unique characteristics left over from previous renovations. Things like different layers of paint, hooks in the walls, exposed brick and structural beams with their original markings are now statement pieces of the design.

Working alongside the team from Insight Creative we achieved this outcome. The view from the office is spectacular and capturing this from the moment clients and staff enter the office was paramount. With some investigation and a very helpful builder, we managed to achieve this, opening up the entrance and the social space to look across the harbour.
