As leading architects and engineers, Bergmann Associates, had a unique challenge to be both client and designer of their new office relocation. the Bergmann Interior Design Team implemented an innovative approach that engaged the employees using the principals of change management. Fostering a culture that is innovative, progressive and attractive to a multi-generational workforce, engaging employees early and often was key. During Pre-Design, approximately 70 individuals met with the Design Team one-on-one, as part of focus groups or in department meetings. As the project moved forward, market/discipline Relocation Representatives were identified to ensure employees had a voice and were informed to various levels. We practiced the principals of engagement and acceptance of cultural change right out of the gate.

DES Architects + Engineers have recently designed and opened a new office location for their firm located in San Francisco, California.
DES recently opened a second office at 1 Sansome in San Francisco. Providing a place for casual collaboration with clients, a flexible gathering area was strategically placed directly off the main entry. It features a high-top walnut table, a raised quartz island, and hide-away cabinetry making it a flexible, client-oriented space. With low partitions and an exposed twelve foot ceiling, the open office is an expansive and airy volume.
The Outkast Group Offices – Sydney
The Outkast Group has recently designed a new office environment for their growing Sydney-based commercial design firm.
The design brief was twofold; 1. the office must work operationally, allowing for plenty of storage and separated spaces for each team in the business, and 2. whilst also acting as a showroom for our creative design and project delivery skills, showcasing the high level of quality that has become associated with Outkast fit outs.

At A Former Northern California Airfield, EDG Gained Square Footage And An Air-Traffic Control Tower
You’d think that EDG Interior Architecture + Design, being ranked on Interior Design’s list of Giants firms specializing in hospitality, would have a studio that’s, well, hospitable. Given the mantra Think Big, there’d be plenty of space, you’d think, too. In reality, EDG was wedged into a small 1960’s bank in San Rafael, across the bay from San Francisco. The firm needed to spread its wings.
