Moore & Giles Announces Partnership with Steelcase

Moore & Giles, leading designer and developer of luxury natural leathers, announces a new partnership with Steelcase, the 105-year-old manufacturer of office furniture based in Grand Rapids, MI.

The new collaboration will introduce two of Moore & Giles’ popular leather collections into Steelcase’s Select Surfaces Leather offering.

For decades, Steelcase has been working with world’s leading organizations to create places that amplify the performance of their people, teams, and enterprise. The company's innovation and creativity coupled with a strong commitment to sustainability set them apart in the industry.

“We are excited to be sharing our love of leather with the A&D community. We are looking forward to working closely with Steelcase, promoting sustainability and beautiful natural leathers,” said Matt Buckley, vice president of sales & strategic development.

The leathers available through Steelcase include:

Mont Blanc -

Tanned in Italy, Mont Blanc’s appeal lies in the harmony of its disparate qualities: a masculine facade balanced by a soft warmth that is revealed when touched. This leather is reflective of the heritage and artisanship of a tannery with generations of experience. With a profound, rich color that flickers to the surface through the layers of finishing waxes, it is a leather for the ages.

Terra -

Crafted in Spain in a palette of bright and vivid colors, Terra is a wet-green® tanned leather with a more natural aesthetic that showcases all of the inherent characteristics of the hides. After tanning, hides undergo a natural, open-air drying process and are then finished with natural oils with water-soluble lacquer bases. The end result is a vibrant leather with a soft, drapey hand and a stunning polished surface. Terra was the world’s first leather to receive a Declare label.
